Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is delighted to announce that registrations are now open for SCREEN FOREVER 40. The flagship conference will return to Queensland's Gold Coast from 28-30 April 2026, with the Online Global Market taking place the week prior on 21-22 April 2026.

Now celebrating its 40th edition, SCREEN FOREVER remains Australia’s premier screen industry event, uniting creative and business leaders from across film, television, documentary, games, and digital content. The conference will once again bring together local and international delegates for three days of keynotes, panels, networking and marketplace opportunities designed to inspire collaboration and champion the future of Australian storytelling.

SPA is also proud to unveil the SCREEN FOREVER 40 Advisory Boards, who will play an important role in setting the strategic direction for the 40th iteration of SCREEN FOREVER. The Program Advisory Board will guide the development of an ambitious, thought-provoking and business-focused conference program, while the Market Advisory Board will help craft a dynamic SPA Connect, one that amplifies co-production, distribution, and investment opportunities for Australian and international delegates alike.

In partnership with Broadcast Intelligence, and exclusive to Gold Coast 3-Day Badge holders, delegates will receive complimentary access to the Broadcast Intelligence platform until 30 April 2026. Broadcast Intelligence is a global tool used for tracking commissioning needs, shaping pitches, and staying ahead of changing broadcaster priorities. The earlier delegates register, the longer they can take advantage of this opportunity — valued at up to AU$1,900.

“The Crisafulli Government is a strong supporter of our state’s screen producers through investment in Screen Queensland. Our partnership with SCREEN FOREVER enables the local sector to seek new opportunities for homegrown films and series to reach national and international audiences and expand our creative economy,” said Minister for the Arts John-Paul Langbroek.

“Screen Queensland congratulates the SPA team on an incredible forty years of bringing the industry together for future-focused discussions, creating new connections and championing positive change. We are proud to be a partner of SCREEN FOREVER and look forward to welcoming the sector to Queensland in April,” said Screen Queensland CEO Jacqui Feeney.

“For more than 35 years, the Gold Coast has had a proud tradition of supporting film and television productions,’’ said Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate. “The screen industry continues to play a starring role in our city’s growing economy. Our long-standing partnership with SCREEN FOREVER shows our commitment to the success of this showstopper industry. Congratulations on 40 years of movie making magic."

Registrations for SCREEN FOREVER 40 are now open via screenforever.org.au. Early bookings are encouraged, with the Gold Coast 3-Day Badge including access to all conference sessions, networking events, and the chance to participate in SPA Connect - the business-to-business marketplace that drives real outcomes for the Australian screen industry.
