Screen Producers Australia (SPA) today announced the finalists in the Business Award categories for the 24th Annual SPA Awards, recognising the achievements of Australia’s leading screen production businesses and industry service providers.

The SPA Awards celebrate the work of SPA member companies whose productions and services demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership across the Australian screen sector. The Business Awards specifically acknowledge the strength of the businesses underpinning Australian storytelling - from established production companies delivering premium content to emerging enterprises shaping the future of the industry.

Eligible productions and business activity considered for this year’s Awards were undertaken between 1 January and 31 December 2025. Winners in the Business Award categories are determined through an independent assessment process by members of SPA’s Council.

SPA CEO Matthew Deaner said the Business Award finalists reflect the continued strength and adaptability of Australia’s screen production sector.

“These finalists represent businesses that are not only delivering outstanding productions, but also building sustainable companies that contribute to the long-term health of the Australian screen industry. Their leadership, creativity and commercial focus are critical to ensuring Australian stories continue to reach audiences.”

All award recipients will be honoured at the SPA Awards ceremony on Thursday 30 April 2026, held on Queensland's Gold Coast as part of SCREEN FOREVER 40.

Registrations for SCREEN FOREVER 40 are now open. The 3-Day Gold Coast Badge includes entry to the SPA Awards ceremony.
