The Screen Diversity & Inclusion Award recognises an Australian production released across broadcast, theatrical or online platforms that demonstrates an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion. In addition to on-screen representation, the award also considers meaningful contributions to inclusive employment and development opportunities for cast, crew and creative teams.

The winner will be announced at the SPA Awards, which celebrate excellence across Australia’s screen production industry.

“The Screen Diversity & Inclusion Award highlights the depth and breadth of storytelling talent across Australia’s screen industry, and the importance of ensuring our sector reflects the diversity of the communities it serves,” Mr Deaner said.

“This year’s finalists demonstrate a strong commitment to telling distinctive stories and creating opportunities both on and off screen. Their work not only enriches our cultural landscape but also strengthens the future of Australian screen production.”

Entry to the SPA Awards is included for all SCREEN FOREVER 40 Gold Coast 3-Day badge holders.
