Early bird entries to the 24th Annual SPA Awards are now open, until 11:59pm AEDT Friday 14 November 2025.
The awards celebrate creativity and Australian storytellers. Winners from each category will be announced at the SPA Awards Ceremony, to be held on Thursday 30 April 2026, the final evening of the SCREEN FOREVER conference on Queensland’s iconic Gold Coast.
The SPA Awards recognise outstanding contributions by SPA members to Australia’s screen industry and are the only awards voted solely by screen businesses whose work drives Australian storytelling. The eligibility period for the upcoming awards encompasses 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
The 24th Annual SPA Awards Entry & Category Guidelines, announced last week, include nomination eligibility information for each of the twenty award categories and all other SPA Awards details.
All financial members of SPA are eligible to enter.

Nominations can only be accepted by and for productions from financial members of SPA.

- Capped early bird rate: $480 for four or more entries
- Standard rate: $185 per entry (until 11:59pm AEDT, 5 December 2025)
- Capped standard rate: $740 for four or more entries
